Scoffs Group Ltd is the UK's largest independent Costa Coffee franchise and a growth partner of Itsu, with our first store recently launched in Exter.
Founded in 2012 by Antony Tagliamonti with just three Costa Coffee stores, our journey has been one of rapid expansion—from 31 stores in 2018 to over 100 nationwide today.
Our innovative approach has earned us awards like the 'Costa Innovation Award' for our store in Cr@te Loughton (the first Costa in the UK to be built inside a shipping container), as well as multiple accolades for community engagement and operational excellence.
We’re pioneers in the industry, having been among the first franchisees to acquire corporate stores—a move that set the stage for our continued success. Innovation is at the heart of our business, driving our approach to property, team structure and operations.
We’ve created bespoke, scalable processes such as Scoffs ‘ways of working’ distilling our (and our franchisor’s) best practices into a digital platform, supporting our staff to deliver on our high expectations. Our dedicated Central Operations, in-house analytics, and robust People and Facilities Management teams ensure real-time responsiveness and continuous process improvement.

The Perfect Retail Partner for Your Space
We’re seeking prime retail locations for our Costa Coffee and Itsu operations in partnership with RAB Retail—a specialist property consultancy working with retail, food and leisure brands.
RAB Retail provides tailored expertise in acquisitions, disposals, asset management, and strategic advice, allowing us to focus on our core business.
We're looking for high-footfall spaces, from High Streets and retail parks to shopping centres, drive-thrus, and travel locations, with the following requirements:.
- Minimum size of 500 square feet
- A1/A3 licence use is preferred (subject to planning)
Our stores are redecorated and redesigned every five years to stay ahead of trends and meet evolving customer needs.
