Scoffs Group Raises Over £53,000 for the Costa Foundation in 2024
In 2024, Scoffs Group once again demonstrated its deep commitment to giving back by raising an impressive £53,487.26 for the Costa Foundation. Through a combination of personal challenges, in-store activities, and company-wide initiatives, teams across the Scoffs network came together in support of the Foundation’s vital mission.
The Costa Foundation aims to improve the life chances of children and young people in coffee-growing communities by providing access to safe, high-quality education. The charity builds and supports schools in some of the world’s most remote and rural areas, including regions in Colombia, Uganda, and Vietnam.
Scoffs’ fundraising success in 2024 is a testament to the creativity, passion, and dedication of individuals across the business. From skydives to mountain climbs, here are just a few of the standout efforts that helped make this incredible achievement possible:
Costa Annual Bike Ride
The Costa Annual Bike Ride remains a key highlight of the fundraising calendar, with riders covering nearly 180 miles in one weekend to support the Costa Foundation.
Scoffs Group founder Antony takes part every year, training throughout the year and using the ride to raise both funds and awareness. His passion for the cause inspires store teams across the business to get involved, running their own fundraising events in the lead-up - from raffles to static bike challenges - helping to boost the overall total.
Together, the combined efforts on and off the road raised £2,672 this year—a fantastic team effort.

Mount Snowdon Climb
A determined group from Scoffs Group’s Support Centre took on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa)—trekking miles up Wales' highest peak in the face of tough conditions. Battling heavy rain, strong winds, and even a yellow weather warning, the team pushed through with resilience and determination.
Despite the challenging weather, their effort was a true display of teamwork, courage, and commitment to a great cause. Together, they raised an incredible £8,560 for the Costa Foundation—proving that even the wildest conditions can’t stop Scoffs when it comes to making a difference.

Vinnie’s Half Marathon
Area Manager Vinnie took on the Cambridge Half marathon, fundraising in the lead-up and proudly representing Scoffs Group during the challenge. His contribution added valuable momentum to the year’s fundraising total, raising a hefty £770.

Dave’s Skydive
In a bold show of support for the Costa Foundation, Dave, Store Manager at North Walsham, took to the skies—literally. By completing a daring skydive,Dave proved that no challenge is too extreme when it comes to making a difference.
Through personal fundraising efforts, he raised £330, adding meaningfully to the overall total and showing the power of individual action in driving collective impact.
Max’s Great South Run
Max, a team member at Scoffs’ Fareham Broadcut store, took on the GreatSouth Run on October 20th, completing an impressive 10-mile course in support of the Costa Foundation.
Through personal fundraising and the backing of his local community, Max raised £412, showing dedication, determination, and the difference one person can make with a pair of running shoes and a big heart.

Standout Story: Debbie’s Skydive & Superhuman Fundraising – A 2023 Effort Worth Shouting About
While not part of the 2024 fundraising total, Scoffs couldn’t miss the chance to celebrate the incredible efforts of Thetford StoreManager, Debbie, whose 2023 fundraising was nothing short of extraordinary.Debbie raised over £3,000 through a mix of in-store and personal challenges—including a 152-mile static bike ride, mystery book sales, raffles, a wing walk, and a skydive.
Her energy, creativity, and relentless enthusiasm became a true inspiration to both colleagues and customers—and set the tone for the passion and commitment seen in 2024.

While these stories stand out, they represent only a fraction of the creativity and commitment seen across Scoffs stores throughout the year. From raffles and bake sales to fancy dress days and customer donations, every store played a part in reaching the £53,000 milestone in 2024.
Scoffs Group’s dedication to the Costa Foundation reflects its values as a people-first business - one that not only serves communities, but actively supports global causes that align with its mission.
